Hi folks! Oh I’m so sorry, I wasn’t able to post anything up here cause of my school examinations. I hardly could get any time. Thanks for understanding 🙂
But what I am going to share with y’all today, is gonna blow your minds! This story is 1000% real, and me and a friend of mine went through this terrible experience. So, grab something comfy, and read on!
So once upon a Friday afternoon at 12, me and my friend, Riya, were walking to our school. It was a pleasant and warm day. Cool breeze was blowing in the trees which made the leaves rustle and fall. The sun was up and the streets began getting hotter every minute. When me and Riya reached near the school gate, I asked her, “Ah, here we go. Do you like being school? I don’t, somehow hehe.” She looked at me while doing her hair right and said, “I don’t. I wish there was a holiday today…”
Then I don’t actually remember who suggested this ( ), but we both agreed to it. We decided we won’t go to school. We would stay outdoors, roaming somewhere, ‘enjoying’. This was something we’d never did, nor imagined doing. We were dare devils so we actually did that.
So we tip-toed behind, managing to not get noticed by anybody. However, one of our classmates noticed us. “Hey, where are you both going?” We both exchanged what-to-say-now glances. Then I quickly made up a story. “Actually, me and Riya forgot geography and science books. So, we will quickly bring those.” She gestured at us somewhat doubtfully, then went back to her clique.
We quietly managed to get out of the school crowd and into a small lane behind the school building. We breathed the sigh of relief as we’d escaped the doubtful glances surrounding us. I looked at Riya and she smiled back at me. “Now what?” I asked her. She shrugged. “Let’s keep walking and stop if we find an ideal place. Like a garden or something.” I said. So we started walking, slow. Our bag-packs were quite heavy, but that didn’t help us to change our minds and to go back to school. We kept on walking. The roads were quite unknown to us as we moved forward. We didn’t think much about which turn to take next. We just chose whichever road looked pleasant and pretty to us. Just like the games where we have to make a choice, which will either lead to something good or something bad. Every time we chose a path, we experienced good things. But we didn’t know what lay ahead for us…

It was 1.30 now, we were still walking, without a pause. It was a point where we didn’t know anything about the place we’d reached. It was completely unknown. Strange faces were walking in the streets paying no heed to the two frightened kids, as we were. We began feeling weak. We hadn’t eaten anything in a while. The sun was up and blazing. I began feeling a small hint of regret of why I’d ever agreed to such horrible thing.
We decided to stop when we saw a small shed of a bus stop in the middle of the street. We finally sat there, sighing. We took a moment to breathe and then withdrew our tiffin boxes from our school bags. As I opened the tiffin lid, I saw neatly set chapati and my favorite ‘bhindi ki subji’- that is spiced ladyfinger. Suddenly, I felt an ache in my heart. I remembered my mother, my dear mother, who’d prepared this lunch just for me. Tears filled my eyes, as I managed to put them back quickly. I’d been dishonest to someone who loves me! In this careless throng of human beings who passed us by; and unheeding the glance of our anxious eyes, I thought of my dear mother, who cares for me so so much, unlike these people.
After finishing our lunch, we got back to our feet and started walking again. And something super strange and terrible happened!
To be continued in part 2…
